A TALE OF WEALTH AND PERCEPTION

In a world where money isn’t just paper, Color Currency paints a vivid picture of society’s divisions. Picture a place where the wealthy hold rainbow-colored bills, the middle class handles red, green, and blue notes, and the poor deal with only black and white money. Then, there are those who can’t see color at all—they handle either black or white coins, living in a world that’s purely monochrome. This unique currency system vividly illustrates how wealth and status are intertwined with the colors we perceive, shining a light on the inequalities that exist in our society. It serves as a powerful reminder that our perspectives can shape our world in profound and unexpected ways.

SEVEN COLORS

The Rainbow Color Note represents wealth and opportunity, with its colorful circular design showing the rich spectrum of possibilities. Its round shape suggests an easy life for the wealthy, and the world map on the back highlights their global reach. This note reminds us of abundance, as the ability to see all colors mirrors the rich’s wide-ranging perspectives.

THREE COLORS

The RGB Color Note stands for the middle class, showing their balanced outlook through a triangular pattern and multi-colored iris. Positioned between rich and poor, it symbolizes stability and resilience. The world map on the back shows how financial resources relate to broader opportunities, represented by the RGB colors.

TWO COLORS

The Black and White Color Note symbolizes poverty, with its plain square design representing limited vision. Those with little means see only black and white. The world map on the back emphasizes the areas where poverty is prevalent, showing the restricted opportunities for the economically disadvantaged.

ONE COLOR — WHITE COIN

The White Coin reflects purity and detachment, belonging to those who see no color not by limitation, but by choice. It’s weightless and minimal, almost transparent, representing privilege so vast it transcends perception. While the Black Coin holds the weight of survival, the White Coin floats above need — untouched, unseen, and often unaware. Together, these two extremes complete the spectrum of perception, showing how color — or the lack of it — defines every layer of our world.

ONE COLOR — BLACK COIN

The Black Coin represents complete deprivation — those who live in the absence of opportunity and hope. Its deep, matte surface absorbs all light, symbolizing how poverty consumes potential. The coin’s heavy weight mirrors the burden of survival, where every day is a struggle to earn even the smallest value. In this monochrome world, the Black Coin is not just currency — it’s a reminder of invisibility within a system that values color over humanity.
